For 2021 we’re making plans for a big adventure that will look a little different than previous editions of the Alpine Loop Gran Fondo. Expect modifications to include a dispersed start, grab-and-go style support, and a more spacious place to spread out and relax after your big ride. New and classic routes charted by Jeremiah Bishop will offer great challenges and incredible scenery. The Prostate Cancer Awareness Project will produce a multimedia project about the 2020 Alpine Loop Gran Fondo #MyGranFondo Challenge. Registered participants are invited to share photo and video files from their big rides. Setting out on the adventure, cycling along the way, scenic shots or crazy sights, memorable or remarkable milestones; did you encounter something wild along the way? Show us! Fundraisers Surpass 2020 Goal

33,000-Mile Challenge Victory!
As September – Prostate Cancer Awareness Month – has come to an end, 2020 Alpine Loop Gran Fondo #MyGranFondo participants have shared in an impressive achievement throughout the month – riding a collective 44,119.39 miles and surpassing the 33,000-Mile Challenge goal! We celebrate this victory as a way to share the important message of prostate cancer screening and early detection. 2020 Preliminary Results: KOM/QOM, Overall Elevation, Sprint Contests
Data-based results were posted on the morning of September 28 and were considered preliminary through midnight Tuesday, September 29. No protests were received, but following further examination, a technical concern was brought to our attention on October 2. Based on this insight, the Zwift segment-based (EPIC KOM and Fuego Flats Foward) data is again being considered preliminary and a decision about how to proceed has been announced.
