SVE Timing – Mid-Atlantic results are posted for Sprint, King and Queen of the Hill, and the Mountains contests, reported for 5-year age groups. There are very different weather conditions, depending on where you are right now. Today, Harrisonburg is being impacted by the weather from tropical storm Ophelia. We’ll see gusty winds and periods of rain on and off throughout the day. The Fundraising Riders event has been updated. Those participants have been notified (check your inboxes). At this time, the Alpine Loop Gran Fondo is scheduled to take place as planned. Here’s a peek at the pre-production mockup of the 2023 cycling sock design by Ridge Supply. This custom take on the Ride Streak 6″ aireator cuff is made specially for the 2023 Alpine Loop Gran Fondo. Registration for the 2023 event is live at BikeReg.com/GranFondo with early bird opportunities for the first 200 registrants. The 2023 Alpine Loop Gran Fondo is September 24. Participants select from 5 routes ranging in distances from 36 to 110 miles, with the premiere Alpine Loop route including significant mountain climbs and dirt and gravel roads.
