2024 Alpine Loop Gran Fondo Date Announced
The 2024 Alpine Loop Gran Fondo will take place October 6, with start/finish in downtown Harrisonburg, Virginia. Registration will open Wednesday, April 3, at 10AM. New for 2024, the event will partner with Gran Fondo National Series. Details in announcements coming soon. Meanwhile, save the date and ride inspired for great adventure!

SVE Timing – Mid-Atlantic results are posted for Sprint, King and Queen of the Hill, and the Mountains contests, reported for 5-year age groups. To view your overall time on course, click your name to expand the view to include all timing data. There were some fierce competitions out there. The Alpine Loop Gran Fondo has a multi-faceted charitable mission, a major component of which is through partnership with the Cancer Journeys Foundation Prostate Cancer Awareness Project. Community, camaraderie and encouragement are at the heart of the Alpine Loop Gran Fondo. Just like riders, volunteer participants are a big part of this event! There are very different weather conditions, depending on where you are right now. Today, Harrisonburg is being impacted by the weather from tropical storm Ophelia. We’ll see gusty winds and periods of rain on and off throughout the day. The Fundraising Riders event has been updated. Those participants have been notified (check your inboxes). At this time, the Alpine Loop Gran Fondo is scheduled to take place as planned.
